Pastor Abigail: Grew up in a biracial family in the Redwood forests of Northern California. Her family put down roots in Washington when she was 16. After studying poetry at Saint Mary's College she went on to earn a California Teaching Credential in 2004 and become a Certified Spiritual Director with a private practice in 2008. She has an MDiv from Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and is a Licensed Local Pastor in the UMC. She has lived in San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC, and Chicago believes The Gritty City to be the west coast's best kept secret. She leads the "Shared Memory" Book Club at King's Bookstore in Tacoma; focused on books about developing cultural identity against the odds.
